We Will Be Back on the 7 of September Thanks for your support throughout the year We will see you soon Twitter is a very popular website these days. It gets millions of hits every day. This site is dedicated to people talking soundbites about nothing… in essence they are just talking crap. So I was thinking why not buy the domain www.shitter.com. The Idea being that if anyone has a monumental ablution. one will have the ability to whiz around (whilst still sweating), catch a picture on their mobile and then upload it to www.shitter.com for the world to see. Its the same as twitter. But with real rather than virtual sh…. genius! I think that this is a worth while social experiment.
In order to satisfy Croydons’ Appetite for High Art. I (Nigel) decided to put myself through the psychological mangle (also known as Singers Night) once again for you lucky thrill seekers. The Personel on this singers night were as follows: Lewis Dixon opened the show with Frank Sinatras’ Come Fly with Me. Lewis has come quite some way since he first sung with the band about 10 years ago, and did a great job well done Lewis. We were honoured to have the fabulous Colin Anthony come down and sing with us. He Sang 2 Songs from his own pad and he was even posh enough to bring down his own conductor in the form of Barry Forgie; it was just like the Eurovision song contest but with talent. Not even Anton Browne Does that!. …more Saves: Nigel Crane, Adam Talbot, John Shenoy, Lucy Palmer, Nicki Hutchins. Trumpets: Rob Sneddon, Pete Cooper, Miles Le Vogeur, Chris Hickox Trombones: Reg Brooks, Alison Henry, John Mathews. Rhythm: Gordon Livesey, Steve Cooper, Richard Madgewick, Lewis Turner I found a new baby. Gordon Goodwin are Yet Another Singers Night Confirmed Singers: In the pad we now have Well, its taken 17 years(our 18th birthday next November!). but finally someone in Croydon has something good to say about us. |
